Privacy Policy

Lapchive (lapchive.com) is an independent, unofficial Formula 1 statistics archive and analysis service, run as a personal project from the Republic of Korea. It is not affiliated with the Formula One Group, the FIA, or any team or driver. Questions about this policy: use the feedback page.

• Server logs — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, time. Used only for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting; kept for a limited period, then deleted or anonymised.
• Preferences — language and display settings, stored in a cookie or your browser's local storage. There are no accounts and no registration.
• Feedback — whatever you type into the feedback form, and contact details if you choose to include them. Used only to reply and fix the issue.
• Usage statistics — we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site). Google sets cookies to do this. We look at the figures only in aggregate and do not use them to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Pages may carry ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or device identifiers to show ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. Videos from YouTube, Instagram and TikTok may be embedded or linked. When you play or interact with them, those platforms may set cookies and collect data under their own policies.

Lapchive operates accounts on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. To publish our own videos we connect only our own accounts through the platforms' developer APIs (for example TikTok Login Kit and the Content Posting API, the YouTube Data API and the Instagram Graph API). The data involved is limited to our own account identifiers, access tokens and the content we post. It is stored on our server and used solely to publish and manage Lapchive's posts. We do not access, collect or store data about other users of those platforms, and we never share or sell this data.

We do not sell personal data. It is processed by the providers that host and run the site, only for that purpose, and may be disclosed where the law requires.

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Send requests through the feedback page. The site is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Our servers may be located outside your country. We take reasonable measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
